Clay Cross Active – Progress update – 26/3/25

Clay Cross Active, the highly anticipated leisure centre, is set to open its doors in summer 2025, and the excitement is building! This state-of-the-art facility promises to be a game-changer for the local community, offering a wide range of activities and amenities designed to promote health, wellness, and social interaction.

The new centre will feature a large, modern fitness suite, a spin studio, a sports hall, and both a main pool and a learner pool with spectator seating. Additionally, visitors can look forward to a community café, treatment rooms, a soft play area for children and a brand new Tag Active arena. As you can see from the pictures, the new Tag Active facility has come on a long way in the past few weeks.

Killamarsh Active Launch new Walking group

Come and join one of our many group walks within North East Derbyshire. They can improve your health and wellbeing. Every Thursday, starting 6^th March 2025.

Distance: 2 miles mainly trails and pavement walking
Suitability: Walkers and Pushchairs
Meeting Point: Meet at 9.45am at the foyer of Killamarsh Active
