We have this unique opportunity to offer people within North East Derbyshire funded training courses for a range of leisure related qualifications, which could lead onto an employment opportunity within our 4 leisure facilities.

We are offering the following courses:

• RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Award –  pre-requisite 16 years plus, also a reasonable swimming capability.
• Swim England Swimming Teacher level 1 & 2   – pre-requisite  16 years plus
• British Gymnastics Activity Instructor – pre-requisite 18 years plus

To be eligible you need to be a resident of North East Derbyshire District Council or currently work for NEDDC & meet the criteria listed against the courses available.

The first stage is to complete an ‘Expression of Interest’ via the link below, then these applications will be shortlisted & a mini-interview will take place.

If you are successful then we will offer you dates when the courses are available for us to book you onto.
