At Dronfield Active, we run progressive and fun gymnastics courses for a variety of ages. All courses are delivered by qualified British Gymnastics instructors.
At Dronfield Active, we offer an exciting and inclusive gymnastics programme designed to help children develop new skills, build confidence and have fun while staying active. From our energetic Tiny Tumblers sessions for toddlers up to 5 years old, to our structured gymnastics classes for children aged 4½ to 16 years, there’s something for every age and ability.
Each session is delivered by our team of qualified British Gymnastics coaches, ensuring safe, progressive learning in a friendly and supportive environment. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to build on existing skills, our courses provide the perfect balance of challenge, movement and enjoyment.
Tiny Tumblers:
More tumbling, jumping and balancing!
Our pre-school gymnastics programme is designed to help your child develop coordination, balance and confidence through fun, structured activities. Aimed at toddlers up to 5 years old, the sessions introduce the fundamental skills of gymnastics in a safe and supportive environment.
Parent participation is a key part of each class, ensuring an engaging and interactive experience for both child and parent.
An award scheme is incorporated to encourage progression and celebrate achievements throughout the course.
Payment is £26.00 per month taken on the 1st of each month by direct debit. For more information please ask at Reception or phone 01246 217217.

9.30am to 10.15am – Under 3s
10.15am to 11.00am – 3-5 years
11.00am to 11.45am – Mixed ages
Tuesday:
12.30pm to 1.15pm – Mixed ages
1.15pm to 2.00pm – Mixed ages
Friday:
12.30pm to 1.15pm – Under 3s
1.15pm to 2.00pm – 3-5 years
2.00pm to 2.45pm – Mixed ages
Gymnastics
Our gymnastics sessions are suitable for children aged 4½ to 16 years (or those in full-time school). These sessions focus on improving coordination, balance and flexibility, while developing gymnastics skills at a pace suited to each participant.
Children work towards an award scheme, designed to promote continued progress, confidence, and enjoyment in the sport.
Classes cover the four main gymnastics disciplines:
- Floor
- Vault
- Beam
- Bar
Payment is £26.00 a month for 45 minute sessions or £29.25 a month for advanced 1 hour sessions, taken on the 1st of each month by direct debit.
Lessons will be delivered over a continuous 47 week block with breaks at Easter, Summer and Christmas. Please note, lessons can be frozen for a minimum of four weeks – short-term illness, holidays and other activities cannot be refunded. Oncourse Homeportal
Your go-to place for everything related to your child’s gymnastics journey!
The Oncourse HomePortal makes it easy to keep track of your child’s progress, achievements and next steps – all in one convenient online space or via the Just Do More app.
Through the portal, you can:
- View your child’s performance against key competencies and skills for their level.
- See a coach rating for each skill — for example: Attempted / Needs Practice / Pass.
- Track a percentage score showing how close your child is to completing their current gymnastics or trampolining level.
- Receive notifications when your child passes and completes an award (available to purchase at reception).
- Get class movement updates when it’s time for your child to progress — and even book their next class directly through the portal!
Getting started:
To access the HomePortal, you’ll first need to register your details.
If you have any issues registering, please check with reception that your contact information (email address, mobile number, and your child’s date of birth) is correct and up to date. Once confirmed, you can log in and start using the portal right away.
Do More Coaching
We have coaching opportunities available for qualified and non-qualified candidates aged 16 years or above. We are also looking for committed, reliable and consistent individuals aged 13-16 years old to work alongside our qualified gymnastic coach as a gymnastics helper.

How to Book – Online Guide
You’ll be directed to our Leisure Hub booking page.
✅ Step 1: Find a Class
- Go to HomePortal2
- Click on “Book a Class”
- Select your Site, then Activity
- Click “Show Centres”
- Browse for a suitable day, time, and level
- Click “Book this Course” > then “Checkout”
✅ Step 2: Log in or Register Your Account
- If you are already registered – Log In
- If you have a membership, but have not registered on Leisure Hub click on “Register” > Select “I’m a member but need to create an online account”
- If you are completely new, click on “Register” > Select “I’m new and would like to register”
- Enter your (parent/guardian) details
- Check your email to confirm your email address
- Log in using your new details
- Click “I Consent” when prompted
- You’ll be returned to your basket with your selected course
✅ Step 3: Add Your Child & Payment
- Add the name of the child attending the class (⚠️ Do not book yourself into the class)
- Select Direct Debit as the payment method
- Enter any Promotional Code (if applicable)
- Provide your account details
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions
- Click “Pay Now”
✅ Step 4: After booking
You will be returned to Home Portal, where you can:
- Track your child’s lesson progress
- Manage bookings and payments
