Junior Gym Participant checklist
Covering Junior Gym and School Groups using the Fitness Suite.
Thank you for enrolling on one of our Gym sessions. We really want you to have an enjoyable time, therefore
we have put together these simple guidelines to help you get the most out of your time with us.
Conduct:
• Everyone is expected to behave in a respectable, positive and acceptable manner towards each other.
• Good relationships with our Healthy Lifestyles instructors will be encouraged.
• Everyone should respect and encourage the efforts of others.
• Always pay attention and listen carefully to the instructions from the Healthy Lifestyles Instructor.
• Please take care of all equipment and report any broken or faulty equipment to the Healthy Lifestyles instructor.
• Be aware that unacceptable behaviour will not be allowed and may lead to exclusion from the fitness suite.
• Juniors under 15 years of age will not be allowed in the fitness suite unsupervised outside of the Junior Gym session times unless an adult gym member is taking responsibility for you.
You should:
• Always remain in the area of the Fitness Suite a indicated by the Healthy Lifestyles Instructor.
• Arrive for your session on time.
• Present your completed Just Do More application form, signed by a parent or guardian on your first visit. We cannot allow you to use the fitness suite until this is received.
• Present your ‘Just Do More’ card prior to the session at reception with your payment and then wait in the foyer area.
• Not enter the fitness suite until the session start time.
• Not begin using the equipment without the Healthy Lifestyles Instructor being present.
• Always follow the instructions of the Healthy Lifestyles Instructor.
• Ensure you use the changing rooms to get changed.
• Only use the equipment as directed by the Healthy Lifestyles Instructor.
• Inform the Healthy Lifestyles Instructor of any medical conditions or injury which may affect your performance.
• Ensure you have a water bottle and stay hydrated.
• Stay safe and enjoy your exercise session.
